This was our second stay at Makena Surf, and our first stay in unit G-103. The location and view are amazing! We prefer to cook our own meals and the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked as was the rest of the unit, well beyond our expectations and what we’ve found in other rental condos. Most importantly, though, Mike was exceptional to work with. We ran into some unexpected events during our stay–construction noise followed by the threat of a hurricane. While a perfect and peaceful vacation is always the hope, stuff happens. And when it does, you want to be dealing with someone who will work with you, communicate with you, and treat you fairly. Mike did all of those things. So if you’re looking for a great condo, a great location, a great view, and the security of knowing that if something goes awry, a great property manager will work with you, then G-103 is the place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay in G-103. Waking up in the morning and having coffee while sitting on back porch listening to the waves break was exactly what we wanted. Getting an opportunity to head down to the secluded beach as a launching point for early morning snorkeling was perfect. No hesitation to stay here again!

Great access to the small beach for snorkeling and swimming.
Very well equipped kitchen with good quality pans and utensils. Nice to have a refrigerator full of various condiments with coffee filters, coffee and cream for the first morning.
We all had a very relaxing time!

This unit and property is perfect! We are frequent guests and come back because of the amazing hospitality, beautiful views, the sounds of waves crashing, two beaches right outside the unit with the best snorkeling in Maui (really – tour operators bring their boats to the Makena Surf corals!). Highly recommend this unit!

We stayed hear in the past and with the new management and upgrades we enjoyed our stay even more this time. We love the fact that G-103 is a large ground floor unit protected from the tradewinds and situated in front of a small beach. We could watch the kids snorkeling to the right and turtle town straight out. It was also nice to talk to them from just off the lania, when they were playing on the beach. The view was spectacular from the living room dinning and kitchen. The beds are very comfortable with a king in one bedroom a queen and twin in the second and hide-a-bed in living room. The fully stocked kitchen was a joy to work in, and we were on the lanai for morning coffee, dinners and beautiful sunsets. We are planning to book G-103 again next year. Great condo in best location
